The Village of Panther Creek is located on the western shore of Lake Woodlands, in the popular planned community of The Woodlands, approximately 30 miles northwest of Houston, Texas. Opening in 1977, Panther Creek was The Woodlands second village to be developed, named after the creek that runs through this lush community. Panther Creek Village is located in the front, eastern half of The Woodlands and is extremely accessible to Interstate 45.

The community parks of Creekwood and Ridgewood are in the Panther Creek neighborhood, both featuring fun water parks with swimming pools and splash pads in addition to playgrounds and playfields. With all of the awe-inspiring green spaces Panther Creek has to offer, wildlife is an important part of it, too. There are over 200 species of birds have been seen within The Woodlands community, including the American Bald Eagle. These prestigious birds have nested and fledged their babies near Lake Woodlands since 1999.

Sally Ride and Glen Loch Elementary are the elementary schools for children in the kindergarten through 4th grades, while the 4-Star McCullough and Knox Junior Highs and 5-Star The Woodlands High School educates the older students with an award winning curriculum .
