Usually on the Sartin Team blog we post about weekend events happening locally. Today we want to pay a little more attention to the weekdays though. Weekdays can sometimes get a bad reputation because of work or other mandatory events. We can all agree that the weekdays can be exhausting which is why we look forward to the weekENDs! Well, to help your weekdays go by a bit smoother, this week there are three different events that are sure to be as good of a time as weekend night for everyone!

From July 23rd to July 26th at Glade Gallery there will be the Exploring the World’s Great Artist II Art Camp for kids between the ages of 7 and 10 years old. Instructed by Donna Gregory, this series of the art camp will be digging into the history and techniques of the some of the best artists such as Jim Dine, Georgia O’Keeffe, Piet Mondrian, and of course Pablo Picasso! The art camp will be working with textured glue, oil pastels, soft pastels, and work on some collages as well so the little artists should be prepared to get hands messy! This is the perfect event for kids who are interested in creativity!

It’s here again! The weekly Rock the Row at Hughes Landing will be showcasing The Blue Grooves performing a variety of music. Enjoy this free event on Thursday, July 25th at Hughes Landing. Rock the Row will begin at 7 PM and end at 9 PM. You can bring the whole family, have a date night, or have a night out with friends!

Ever been to a trivia night? Whether you have been to a trivia night before or you want to try it out for the first time, Friday night on July 26th is a great time to attend a trivia night! The gates to the Wild Stallion Vineyards will open at 6 PM and the trivia will begin at 7 PM and run until 10 PM. There will be wine and specialty drinks, since it is at Wild Stallion Vineyards, and the chefs will have a special menu for the night’s event. The host of this trivia night will be a special guest and the winning teams will leave the event with prizes in hand! Come ready to compete and hungry for this great event to kick off the weekend!
